Nicholas Lefebure joined the Hyperion Munitions team in 2024, bringing with him a lifelong passion for firearms and an impressive background in the industry. His love for shooting began early—at the age of 8, Nicholas’s dad introduced him to the sport with an old JC Penney bolt-action .22 rifle that belonged to his grandfather. Shooting coke cans and bottles set up on a fence post was “love at first shot.” That rifle now holds a special place in his collection, having been lovingly refurbished by his family as a birthday gift.

By the age of 10, Nicholas had his own .22 rifle, a Rossi, and at 12, he received his first 12-gauge shotgun. For the next five years, skeet shooting with his family became a cherished birthday tradition. These formative years not only sparked his love for firearms but also instilled a deep respect for the craftsmanship and culture surrounding them.

Nicholas’s industry experience is just as remarkable. He worked for five years at the largest gun shop in the southeastern United States, managing the store for two of those years. In this role, he oversaw the storefront and handled complex NFA transactions. His knowledge of firearms and industry regulations is described as encyclopedic, making him an invaluable resource for his colleagues and customers alike.

What Nicholas values most about being part of Hyperion Munitions is the culture of collaboration. He appreciates that his input is valued and that he can contribute meaningful insights. Drawing from his years in the dealer network, Nicholas deeply understands the challenges and frustrations dealers face, and he takes pride in helping them find practical workarounds and solutions.

Outside of work, Nicholas shares his passion for concealed carry by offering tips and insights to those looking to become consistent and responsible concealed carry holders. While he’s not a licensed instructor, he uses his years of personal experience to help others feel confident and comfortable.

Nicholas also has a long-standing love for motocross, a hobby he began at age 8 and still enjoys today. Though he no longer actively trains in martial arts, the discipline he practiced for many years has shaped his character and approach to life.

Hyperion is proud to have Nicholas on the team, and we’re excited to see how his expertise and enthusiasm continue to make a positive impact!
